Frequency Hopping Can be GOOD

A customer in a noisy environment (radio frequency noise, that is) asked for a performance evaluation. It seemed to them that their microwave links were slowing, and this was found to be true. Analysis revealed that the issue was interference.

SideBand's Consulting Ability to "Fix" Links Installed by another Vendor.

In August 2009 SideBand Systems was contracted to evaluate and troubleshoot a microwave link sold and installed by a competitor. The link had been dropping for 9 weeks before we were called.

Unlicensed RF Interference Issues

The so-called "ISM" bands (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) were allocated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for use by machines that emitted RF (radio frequencies) such as RF welders, industrial heaters and microwave ovens, but not for radio communications.
