Unintended Interference Issues

One of our maintenance contract customers was having problems with their slightly dated link. It would cease to function occasionally, and it would not come back, or even be accessible until we reset it. Knowing there were some trees in the way we moved it to a different point on the roof and improved the RSL but the malfunction remained. Because it was an aged interface we could not conclusively pinpoint the problem. We tried a different pair of radios to no avail. After some snooping around we found there were two radio links at the remote site supporting security cameras that were traversing our link back to the main building. After some further snooping we found those links were actually pushing a large amount of data through our link, leaving our customer with the table scraps. Our radio was trying to pass all this data but was getting over saturated - it caused the unit to freeze and remain inaccessible.
